Emma Handwoven Area Rug

A new and noteworthy study in materiality. this handwoven rug is crafted from a blend of 70% New Zealand Wool and 30% Silk. giving it a subtle luster and luxurious feel. Its soft. multicolored palette in sophisticated hues of dusty rose. muted sage. soft ivory. and deep indigo. creates depth and dimension amid a barely-there pattern. A tonal whipstitch along the edges adds subtle visual contrast and intrigue. Pile height is 8mm.

Handcrafted in a region known for rugs in India. every rug is hand-loomed over weeks at a workshop in Uttar Pradesh. The work of a collective of over 100 artisans. every piece is made start to finish in a fair trade environment.
